About Chakou Trust
Chakou Trust is a registered charitable trust established in 2021 to promote social welfare, community development, and sustainable impact initiatives. The Trust operates under a formal Trust Deed and Board Charter in accordance with the Trustees Incorporation Act, CAP 318 (R.E. 2002), ensuring strong governance, transparency, and accountability.Â
The Trust is dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities throughout the Pwani Region, but in certain circumstances, we may expand to other regions in Tanzania, working through structured programs that are consistent with its founding mission and formal governance framework.
