Chakou Trust is a registered charitable trust established to promote social welfare, community development, and sustainable impact initiatives. The Trust operates under a formal Trust Deed and Board Charter in accordance with the Trustees Incorporation Act, CAP 318 (R.E. 2002), ensuring strong governance, transparency, and accountability.

The Trust is committed to uplifting vulnerable communities across Pwani Region, working through structured programs that are aligned with its founding mission and formal governance framework.
